As an animal lover I was inspired to stray from my comfort zone of painting florals to try my hand at pet portraits and try to capture the personality and characterisitics of these lovely individuals!
Minnie - my first ever cat portrait and to whom I grew very fond! This was a beautiful photograph to work from and the credit goes to Jan, the owner. I would love to have met this cute little cat!
Felix - belongs to the same owner of Minnie, and this was also a beautiful photograph to work from. I grew very attached to him!
Merlin - This lovely boy was waiting to be adopted from the East Midlands Dog Rescue in Leicestershire, UK. The painting was donated to them to help raise funds. He has now found his forever home.
